Prophet-600 CPU Upgrade
This repo. is for the CPU upgrade module I am designing for the Sequential Circuits, Inc. Prophet-600 synthesizer. The firmware for this module is Imogen's P600FW v2022, a newer and updated version of the famous GliGli P600FW mod. What's different is this board replaces the need for a modified Teensey++ 2.0, as it has the same AT90USB1286 microcontroller wired to all the same pins, except for the ones that need to be modified as per the original instructions.

My plan is to build up one of these boards so that I can upgrade my Prophet-600 and get some better use out of it making music.
Board Revisions
Revision 1.0 - March 2025
- Created the board based off the original Teensey++ 2.0 pin out and GliGli's modification instructions
- The board uses (for the most part) SMD components. The USB port is hybrid and the pin headers had to be through-hole.
- Board component choice is based off of the components used on the MacroPad Project.
